Fishing rules

At Domaine de Noute Étang, whether you practice battery, pole, or predator fishing, all fish must be released into the pond. We invite you to read our fishing rules. These instructions are intended to ensure your safety and preserve this exceptional wild nature. The reception opens at 11am, it is imperative to present yourself there upon your arrival.

Opening Hours

  • Post check-in and release: 1:00 PM, no departure before 10:00 AM

  • Arrival for chalets: 3:00 PM, departure 11:00 AM

General Safety Rules

  • Ground fires are prohibited (stand-up barbecues allowed).

  • Please ride at a walking place.

  • Swimming is prohibited.

  • It is forbidden to throw cigarettes or any other waste on the ground.

  • Zodiacs and boats are allowed with mandatory wearing of life jackets.

Specific Rules for Carp Fishing

  • Floating retention sacks are mandatory. Sinking sacks are FORBIDDEN.

  • In case of catching a White Amur, it is essential to take the necessary time to re-oxygenate it.

  • For all atypical fish (linear, fully-scaled, ghost, koi, over 20kg), it is imperative to notify the responsible persons before releasing.

Authorized material

  • 3 rods per fisherman.

  • Foam reception mat greater than 10 cm mandatory.

  • Special carp landing net (greater than 1 meter).

  • Bait boat tolerated while respecting your position.

  • The line must not be fully braided; Nylon line must be included somewhere in the setup.

General Guidelines for Nature Respect

  • Vehicles should be parked next to the fishing spot without blocking another vehicle's passage.

  • Bivvy or tent in colors adapted to the environment is required.

  • Domaine de Noute Étang declines all responsibility for theft, any damage or personal injury.

  • We do not collect trash; everyone is required to remove their waste. A trash can is available at the site entrance.

  • Fishing outside the assigned spot upon arrival is prohibited, as is moving around the site without the manager's permission.

  • Two visitors allowed per angler (entry fee: €2 per day and €5 per night)

  • All visitors must be declared to the manager prior to the stay.

  • Visitors must park at the pond entrance on the designated parking area.

  • Animals are prohibited except for dogs under the condition they remain near the post on a leash and their waste is collected.

  • Vehicle movement is prohibited from 10 PM to 9 AM to prevent fish theft and ensure the opening and control of gates.

  • In order to fight against fish theft, the opening and control of vehicles may be requested by our staff.

  • Vehicle movement within the domain is PROHIBITED

  • Vehicles that need to leave during the stay (e.g., for shopping) must remain parked in the entrance parking lot

Bait Description

  • Cooked grains allowed.

  • Boilies and pellets permitted.
